- Here is a strange, but useful ( I hope ), posting for
- comp.binaries.atari.st. It is the documentation and binaries
- for connecting a DEC LK201 keyboard to a ST. It works great
- and it fixes the worst feature of the older STs. I'm using
- it with the midi port on my 1040 ST and a friend of mine is
- using it with the serial port on his 520 ST.
-
- The strange part is the hardware aspect - we have no
- comp.hardware.atari.st arcive 8^)! Actually no hardware mods
- are required to run use the keyboard with the ST serial port.
- It just takes a small external power supply and an adaptor
- to convert the keyboard's RJ11 connector to a DB25. The midi
- port version does require an internal modification to the ST.
- That's is just to change the mid port's baud rate. The docs
- detail the harware stuff.
